do you require a deposit?
I do. I require a 50% non-refundable retainer for all of my couples sessions + then 30% for all weddings, to lock in the day and time. This must be completed upon signing the contract. The remaining balance is due the day of your session. This is all done through a secure platform (honeybook).
do you travel?
Yes! I am always down for an adventure!! My Minnesota wedding packages include any travel fees. My Minnesota sessions include the first 60 miles from Minneapolis, MN FREE as well. Any travel exceeding that, I will invoice at the standard IRS fee. $0.56/mile. If a flight is needed instead of driving, I can come up with a custom quote for you two!
How long will it take to get back my photos?
For my sessions it will take about 2-4 weeks after your session date. For weddings, you will receive them within 6-8 weeks from your big day. BUT i will send you sneaky peaks before then of course! I couldn't leave you hanging that long!!
how will i recieve my photos?
I will send out your gallery through an online platform (pictime). There you will be able to download your photos and also purchase prints if you would like to, but i always have a print release for you as well.
how long do you store my photos?
I clean out my files every 6-8 months or so. But that is not always guaranteed. I cannot promise that I will backup the images for you, so please be sure to download the images and create your own backups. I do not store the raw files for more than 2 months.
what should i wear?
When in doubt, NEUTRALS!! I will always and forever recommend solid clothing in neutral colors and earthy tones. These colors really keep your photographs timeless. Layers are a great way to add in depth and movement. Another thing I love to tell my couples, is to add in textures if you are looking for more. Jeans with a fuzzy or velvet shirt, big knit layers or corduroy fabrics!
what's your style?
My style is very candid and fun! I love to get my couples laughing and enjoying the moment rather than posing. I focus heavily on the raw emotions and realness of your session day: the laughs, the tears, and all those kisses!!
how many photos will i get?
Every session and wedding is SO different!! I never like to promise a certain amount because there are so many things that factor into it, but typically my couples/e-sesh receive at least 50 photos + my weddings receive about 50 per contracted hour.
Do you retain the copyright? What does that mean + can we still share the photos on social media?
It is stated in my contract that by agreeing to the proposal, the couple is also agreeing to the fact that any photos taken are copyrighted to Iviee Yager Photography and that I have the right to use the images for social media, marketing content, website, etc. If this is something you do not feel comfortable with please let me know. With this, you can post to social media - but please do NOT alter the photo in anyway when doing so.
Can we share our photos to social media?
Heck yes! I absolutely LOVE seeing posts of your favorite images from your sessions and weddings. I just ask that you tag me for photography credit in any post that you make. Whether that be my website, instagram, or facebook page.

Iviee was amazing to work with. When it was too cold for our shoot the day it was planned she was very flexible in rescheduling. She makes your session so fun which helps take away any nerves that you might have about posing for pictures! She is so creative and her pictures are gorgeous. She had our edited photos back to us in less than two days which was amazing! Iviee is the most amazing photographer you could ever come across! We found her by chance when she was passing through Utah and she did our Christmas card pictures. We were blown away by how amazing they were. When we got engaged it was no question that Iviee would be doing our engagement and wedding photos. We just got our engagement photos back and they are gorgeous! Iviee is amazing to work with, super responsive, and makes every session feel like a breeze even if you're a little bit awkward (like us). Cannot say enough good things about Iviee! Not only did our wedding photos turn out amazing, but she was an absolute sweetheart and endured a very raining wedding day. We were back & forth with our wedding ceremony location due to the forecast and she was so accommodating with our last minute decision, went out of her way to bring umbrellas for couples photos, and made it all so comfortable for my husband who has never done professional photos/doesn't love the camera. She's a true gem!
